BIOGRAPHY

Akiavel is a Death Metal band from South East of France. Formed in 2018 by Chris (guitar), Jay (bass), Auré (vocals), and Butch (drums), Akiavel has quickly risen to prominence with their unique blend of Melodic Death Metal, Blackened Death Metal and Brutal Death Metal.

Led by a female singer with an overpowering growl and a commanding stage presence, Akiavel has carved out their own niche in the metal world.
Drawing inspiration from legendary bands such as Morbid Angel, Deicide, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, Testament, and Gojira, Akiavel delivers a potent mix of aggression, melody, and technical prowess.

Since their formation, Akiavel has released 1 EP “Akiavel” (2018) and 3 full-length albums “V” (2020), “Væ Victis” (2021), “Veni Vidi Vici” (2022).
During summer 2024, the band signed with the independent label Verycords (distributed by Warner Music France) and the 4th album is currently being recorded and is due to be released by Verycords in the first quarter 2025.

Captivating audiences with their intense live performances, the band signed with the French booking agency Rage Tour in August 2022.
Akiavel has been performing on stage in France since its creation, at renowned festivals such as Hellfest, Motocultor Festival, Plane’R Fest, Festival 666, Mennecy Metal Fest, Furios Fest… as well as at many headlining concerts all around the country (going as far as La Réunion Island), showcasing their dynamic energy and musicianship.
